More Info

IEC60320 C19 to OPEN (WHIPS PIGTAILS) - NACC. NACC is North American Color Code of the insulation on the individual conductors, BLACK/WHITE/GREEN. BLACK is line, WHITE is neutral, and GREEN is ground. The IEC60320 C19 mates with a C20 inlet. The open end will be hardwired to equipment or terminated with connector. Standard cordage is 12awg-3c SJT. Other colors, gauge, jacket and lengths are available

IEC 60320 C19 CONNECTOR (FEMALE)

  • The IEC 60320 C19 is a grounded 3 Wire connector rated up to 250V and 20 Amps. The C19 mates with a C20 inlet, and is commonly used in a jumper cable scenario in IT Installations providing power from a PDU to a server, router, switch or other computing device. The C19 is typically used in high powered blade server chassis, large network routers, and other IT equipment that draws more power than a standard C13 can accommodate.

Open Ended (Whips, Pigtails, ROJ Strip)

The open end of a power supply cord is hard wired to another device, providing power either to our from that device. Unless otherwise noted, our power supply cords come standard with a 2" ROJ (Remove Outer Jacket) and a 1/4" Strip. The ROJ length determines the length of the individual conductors, and the Strip length determines the amount of copper exposed on the end of each conductor. If you require a custom ROJ or Strip length, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

14awg-3c North American Color Coded Conductors with SJT Outer Jacket

14awg-3c conductors are UL rated to carry 15A @ 250V. North American Color Coding for 3 wire cable designates (1) Black Conductor (1) Green Conductor (1) Neutral Conductor.

Conductor Designations in 125V Circuits

  • Black Conductor - "Hot" or "Leg", the conductor that carries current to the equipment.

  • Green Conductor - Ground conductor
  • White Conductor - "Neutral", the conductor that carries current back to the source.

Conductor Designations in 250V Circuits

  • Black Conductor - "Hot" or "Leg", the conductor that carries current to the equipment.

  • Green Conductor - Ground conductor
  • White Conductor - "Hot" or "Leg", the conductor that carries current to the equipment.

12awg 3 Conductor SJT (Service Junior Thermoplastic) Cordage

12awg-3c cable is UL Rated to deliver 20A at up to 300V. However, the actual voltage is dependent on the types of male and female connectors used with the cable. For cord sets with IEC 60320 connectors on both ends, the cable is rated for 20A @ 125V and 20A @ 250V. Because these connectors are rated for use at either voltage, it is very important that you double check the voltages match between the PDU and the Equipment, otherwise, you may damage the equipment.

14awg SJT / 1.5mm2 H05VV-F

14/3 SJT / 1.5mm2 H05VV-F is a hybrid cordage that carriers North American and International Approvals. This type of cordage is ideal for customers who are looking to standardize power cables used across data centers worldwide, while still having approvals for each country they are being used.

Depending on the types of connectors used in the cord set, this cordage can be used in 125V or 250V circuits.  When used in 125V circuits, the Blue conductor is typically the "Hot", the Green/Yellow conductor is the "Ground" and the Brown conductor is the "Neutral". When used in 250V circuits, the Blue conductor is "Hot", the Green/Yellow Conductor is "Ground", and the Brown conductor is also "Hot".
