Each type has its own respective design that cannot be cross-connected to access power from the other type. This superior design allows for the connection points to be concealed to prevent any arching or electrical shorts, while also preventing any male-to-male short circuit connections from occurring.

Saf-D-Grid pwoer cords are rated for both AC and DC use and are primarly used in Data Centers to power Cisco, Arista, and other switching devices.
